From 2024 Dr Chris MIllar will be seeing patients full time at King Street Medical Centre, our sister practice, and will not be available for consults at Cabarita Beach Medical.

Dr Chris Millar graduated from medical school at the University of Otago in 1998 and has practiced in Northern NSW since 2005.

He has worked in a rural area in the Solomon Islands as a sole doctor for a rural population of 30 000 people in the Western Province and he was also the Director of Medical Services for that Provincial Health Service. He has been the project manager for construction of the Taro and Namuga Hospitals in the Solomon Islands. In addition to his MBCHB (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) he has qualifications of Diploma in Child Health, FRACGP (Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners), and postgraduate qualification in international Health and Development.

Dr Chris is a Clinical lecturer and mentor for the University of Wollongong (UCRH – Murwillumbah). Chris’s medical interests include paediatrics, skin excisions , chronic disease management as well as tropical medicine. His personal interests include surfing and gardening. He is married and is the father of 4 beautiful girls and they live in the local area.
